When people find out that I have travelled to 32 countries as a 20 something year old female traveler, I often get asked which country is my favorite or enjoyed most? Honestly, I don’t have a particular favorite as each country I visited has its own unique and remarkable scenery, architecture, nature, culture, and food. However, I want to finally share my top 11 favorite travel places I’ve visited so far.
So here you go… my top travel destinations that I personally really enjoy visiting and that I highly recommend everyone to visit once in their lifetime:

1. Bali, Indonesia
Traveling to Bali, Indonesia is where I found peace and healing that I honestly wasn’t even looking for and didn’t realize I needed it until I got there. So, if you want to experience peace and healing, I recommend going to Bali.

2. Cappadocia, Turkey

We go through some stages in life where we don’t know where we will end up. Going to Cappadocia, Turkey may help anyone to ease their mind during the process and just live in the moment.
It’s certainly inevitable NOT to worry about upcoming important events in our lives and somehow it becomes so easy to forget to take time to enjoy the process.So, maybe taking a trip to Turkey might help with that. You will know what I mean when you ride the hot air balloon and experience how smooth things would turn out if you’d just trust and let them be…just like anything life sometimes. Trust me. You will always end up where you need to be, just don’t forget to enjoy the ride!

3. Palawan, Philippines
Want to experience paradise on earth? Palawan is the best place for you! If you love island hopping, exploring the islands in Palawan is the best experience I highly recommend! This is also where I found peace and healing and made me appreciate little things in life! Surprisingly, this is also the place I figured out what I want to do next in life!

4. Kyoto, Japan
For the green-tea matcha, sushi, ramen, best-quality food/snacks and even anime and manga lovers, Japan is the best place to visit! If you simply enjoy sight-seeing unique historical sites and love food, Japan is your next travel destination you must visit! I enjoy traveling to Japan because the food was so delicious and it also introduced me to minimalism!

5. Venice, Italy
My favorite boats rides were in Venice, Italy! If you want to feel fancy or have a romantic experience or you just want to feel like you’re in the 18th century, then ride the gondola! However, if you want to feel like you’re in those romantic or action movies, then ride the speed boat! I was lucky to experience both, and I highly recommend! If you enjoy any type of boat rides (gondola, speed boat) like me and prefer to enjoy a place without needing to walk far to get the best views, then definitely Venice, Italy is the right place for you to visit!

6. Seoul, South Korea
Are you a K-drama, K-pop, K-fashion, K- beauty products or Korean food fan? Then you must go to South Korea! If you LOVE shopping, food and fangirling, then South Korea is the best place I recommend! I highly recommend South Korea! There’s just so many reasons to visit this country!

7. Dubai, UAE
I was so amazed and impressed when I visited Dubai because the country has the best architecture styles I have ever seen! I really enjoyed Dubai’s incredible modern architecture. There were many fascinating and well-designed architectural sites to explore including “man-made” creation like islands. If you decide to go, please visit the tallest building in the world Burj Khalifa! Best view is at night!

8. Banff, Canada
I felt like I was in those winter movies like Narnia when I came to Banff in March. The Lake Louise in Banff is a must visit even in the winter! It felt so magical and surreal ice skating on a frozen lake while snowing! I mean how many people actually get to experience this fairy-tale like fantasy!

9. Paris, France
Do I need to say more about the City of Love? I feel like Paris is the most popular city in the world not only because of the famous Eiffel tower, Notre-Dame cathedral and Louvre Museum, but because of fashion, food and it’s reputation of being the romantic city. If you don’t mind traveling to touristy and crowded places, Paris is a great destination for sure. It’s a beautiful city with lots of unique experiences to offer! I had the best escargot and macaroon while in Paris, so when you go, must try those!

10. Bangkok, Thailand
I really enjoyed traveling to Thailand because everything was so cheap! When I went to Thailand, I mostly shop and ate! I had the best pad thai, green curry, and mango sticky rice in Bangkok. I really love mango so much that I tried almost every mango flavored that I could find! If you go, I highly recommend shopping, having Thai massage, and exploring floating markets, elephants, temples, and beaches.

11. Interlaken, Switzerland
To be honest, I’ve always said Switzerland is my favorite country out of the places I’ve been to when I’m asked to only pick one favorite. The reason is because it’s clean, peaceful, and the nature is just so beautiful. In addition, if you are a fan of Crash Landing On You, this is a great vacation destination to re-create and spot the Kdrama scenes and go paragliding!
Bonus: Save the best for last, the first time I visited Switzerland, I fell in love with the place because it’s just so peaceful and so impressed with the quality of life I’ve witnessed that I told myself must be really nice to live here someday. Switzerland is NOT only one of the best places in the world to visit, but one of the best countries to live! In fact, did you know it’s ranked #1 best country overall?
